Three hours later…

Omir pulled in front of Bellamy’s house and killed the engine. After their run in at the sports bar, he ignored Deuce for most of the night while watching Bellamy with her date. He felt like a stalker but couldn’t help watching to make sure ol’ boy didn’t touch her.

This jealous nature of his had appeared out of nowhere. He had never been an envious man, especially over a woman, but Bellamy was different. She was the girl that lived inside his mind. He couldn’t get rid of her for shit which was why he was getting out the car and walking up to her door.

Omir rang the doorbell and seconds later Bellamy appeared. She wore a onesie that hugged her pear shape in all the right places. Her hair was still down and parted down the middle, but her face was clear of any makeup she’d worn that night.

“Can I help you?” she jested.

“Let me in.”

She slid to the side to allow him access inside the home. When he entered the living room, he was stunned to see all the boxes stacked up around her furniture.

“Excuse my home. I added on two new contracts with my business and have a lot to ship out.”

“Is your second room full?”

“Yes, I gotta squeeze my way in so I can sit at my shipping table. I need a building, but I haven’t had time to look for one.”

“At least your company growing, right?”

She beamed. “Yep, but I know you didn’t come over here to talk about my business.”

He looked around at the stacked boxes. “You need help packing orders?”

Bellamy’s hand fell against her chest. “Aww, you're willing to help me?”

“Haven’t I helped you before?” he countered.

“Yeah, you were the only one that was willing to give a helping hand.”

“What about that big-ass lame you was on a date with tonight? He don’t help you?”

She shook her head. “That man hasn’t even been to my house before. We just started talking.”

He smacked his lips. “Why you act like y’all was together and shit?”

She cackled, covering her mouth with her hand. “Oh, I was cappin’ hard. I just had to get my point across to you.”

Omir shook his head. “You irritating as hell.”

“Yet, you're here at my house offering to help.”

“Yeah, I guess. Come on.”

Bellamy led the way toward her shipping room with Omir’s eyes glued to her ass.

“That ass lookin’ nice Bellamy. What you been doing to it?”

She glanced back at him wearing a sexy smirk. “Getting it clapped.”

“Yeah, a’ight.”

Bellamy hadn't lied. Her shipping room was filled to the ceiling with boxes. There was only enough room for her to walk toward her table. After maneuvering through the boxes, Omir and Bellamy took a seat on the chairs.

“Damn, I thought you was exaggerating. You do got a lot of shit.”

“I know.” She reached for her packing label machine and turned it on. “It’s a lot but I think I can manage.”

“You need help, Bellamy. Why you won’t hire anybody?”

“For several different reasons.
